Chris Alford was laid to rest at Hills of Calvary Cemetery on Dec. 13, 2023.
I worked with Chris Alford for the better part of two years. He was one of the most resilient, sad and beautiful humans I have ever known. He was deeply loyal to the people around him; funny and flawed and chronically optimistic. Chris was one of those souls sent here to teach us more about radical compassion than we maybe thought we wanted to learn. It was an honor to know him. Please give my condolences to his brother Mike if he’s still around.
