On November 5, 2021, a group of clergy from throughout Nashville gathered at the Hills of Calvary Cemetery to remember and honor the lives of 5 individuals being buried as a part of the Metro Social Services Indigent Burial Program. They gathered in the belief that all people deserve to be remembered as they are laid to rest, and the group offered the ministry of presence, representing both the citizens of Nashville and all who knew and loved the deceased.

Since that time, representatives from Call the Name have presided at 105 burials, offering prayers, words of hope, and calling out the name of those who often have no one else to remember them in their passing.

On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 2 p.m. Call the Name is will be hosting an All Saint’s remembrance for those who have been laid to rest in the past year. All are invited to join us at Hills of Calvary Cemetery, located at 4411 Ashland City Hwy, Nashville, TN 37218 for a short service and calling the names of all who have been laid to rest in the past year.
